Elizabeth J. (Hayes) Kerns, 77, of Harleysville, PA passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020.She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on April 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Catherine ( Boyle ) Hayes.Betty Jane has lived in Harleysville for over 3 years, formerly of Cape May, Skippack, Havertown, and she grew up in Philadelphia.She was a Investigator for Financial Institution.She was the wife of the late Late – Robert J. Kerns.Survivors include Daughter Kathleen Finnegan of Prospect Park, Pa, Son Michael (& Madeline) Kerns of Point Pleasant, NJ, Son Jeffrey Kerns of Phoenixville, PA, Son Rob (& Kim) Kerns of Malvern, Pa, Daughter Tricia Kerns of Skippack, Pa, Daughter Erin (& John) Zimmerman of Harleysville, Pa, Sister Rose Tomlinson of West Chester, Pa, Sister Margaret Morison of Villas, NJ, Sister Alice McCabe of Upper Chichester, Pa, Sister Katherine Quigley of North Cape May, NJ, also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son James Kerns, a brother Patrick Hayes & a sister Patsy Burke.Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at 12:00 PM from St. Eleanor’s RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.Friends may call on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the church.Interment will take place at a later date in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to American Lung Association – 55 W.
