KENNEDY, WILLIAM ROBERT, age 82, of N Cape May and Haines City, Florida passed away peacefully with his wife Ethel and his family by his side, on November 27, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in North Cape May, NJ before moving to Haines City Florida in 2005. Bill served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked most of his life for Sears and Roebuck Company. Bill was a member of St. John of God Church and a fourth degree knight for the Knights of Columbus in Erma NJ. Bill also loved politics, he was the leader of the Lower Township Democratic committee for many years. He loved living in Florida with his wife Ethel and all their great friends in Blue Heron Bay. He loved bowling and playing cards and was a most devoted Eagles fan. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years Ethel (Moran); his children and their spouses, (William & Gerry Kennedy) (Linda & Andy Hilvert) (Michael & Heather Kennedy) (Kathy & Harry Amundsen); and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a Mass for Bill at St. John of God Church, January 18, 2014 at 11:00am Townbank road, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00am to 11:00am.
