JACOBS, ADREAN, 91, of Ocean View, died Monday, September 21, 2015, at Autumn Lake Healthcare Center, Ocean View, NJ. Born in Mt. Union, PA., to her parents Bernard and Ophelia Washington, Adrean lived almost her entire life in Woodbine before moving to Ocean View in 2013. She worked as a cottage supervisor at the Woodbine Developmental Center before retiring in the late 1980’s. Adrean enjoyed many pastimes, some of which included camping, music, shopping, and traveling by plane and cruise ship. Adrean is predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Eugene Hendricks, who died in 1983; her brothers, Russell Washington and Leon Murray; her sisters, Irene Page and Mildred Goff; and recently her grandson, Ryan Hendricks. She is survived by her husband, Marion Jacobs; her children, daughter Elaine Francis and husband Matthew, sons Michael Anthony Hendricks and wife Patricia; Wayne M. Hendricks and wife Nina; and Eugene Raymond Hendricks; brothers Jonathan Murray and wife Dorothy, David Murray and wife Geraldine; sisters Vivian Fortson; Evelyn Coleman and Joan Murray; and 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Adrean leaves behind her stepchildren, four stepdaughters: Geraldine Morrell and Barbara Robinson, Sandra Simmons (Jeffrey); and Delcie Taylor; four stepsons: Marion Jacobs, Larry Robinson, Lonnie Robinson, and Marion Clark. She also leaves sisters-in-law Pearlie Mae (JC) Clark, Elizabeth Pennington, and Patricia Louis, and Nancy Shields; and brothers-in-law William Jacobs, Pete, and Jesse Jacobs. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
