IACONO, BETTY J., age 85, of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Court House Convalescent Center. Betty was born March 1, 1928 in Philadelphia, and has been a Cape May area resident since 1951. She was employed by the Watson Turkey Farm in Turnersville, NJ and later by Dr. Richard Renzas office in Wildwood. She was a member of St Raymonds RC Church, organized senior citizen bus trips, and enjoyed playing bingo. Betty is survived by her husband of 36 years Louis Iacono; her sons: Dale (Doris) Iacono of Wildwood, NJ & Kevin (Mary) Iacono of Bluffton, SC; her daughters: Debbie (Paul) Rotter of Jim Thorpe, PA & Kathy (Chuck) Gibbons of Blufffton, SC; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Lillian Bartlett. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
