HUMPHREYS, NORMAN E. Jr., age 86, formerly of Villas, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital of Langhorne, PA. Norman was born January 20, 1927 in Pennsauken, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1989. He was the son of the late Norman E Humphreys Sr. and the late Margaret J (Schweitzer) Humphreys Norman served in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed by Nabisco Corporation of Philadelphia, PA. Norman was a member of the American Legion Post 198 of Cape May Court House, Knights of Columbus Council 3585 of Erma, St Raymonds Good Samaritans, and a former member of the Moose Lodge 585 of Wildwood. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Rita E (nee Hennessey) Humphreys; two daughters: Patricia Dzubak and Susan Neiss; and two sons Norman E Humphreys, Jr. and Michael Humphreys. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
