HORVATH, ANDREW J., of North Cape May died Thursday, January 16th at the Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden. He was 47. Born in Plainfield, he lived in Colonia, Edison, Woodbridge and Point Pleasant before moving to North Cape May in 2005. He worked as a carpenter and woodworker for over 25 years, most recently with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners, Local #1743, Wildwood. As well as a skilled cabinetmaker, Andrew was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He lived a full but too short a life and is already missed by many. He is predeceased by his parents, Andrew & Helen Horvath. Surviving are his sons, Zachary and Tyler Horvath, both of Cape May; their mother, Evelyn Ward of Sayreville; partner, Patty Cofer of Linwood; brothers, Mark of Cape Coral, Florida, and Stephen and Paul, both of Lawrence, Kansas; and sisters, Susan Lasky of Woodbridge and Mary Eyer of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd at 8:30 AM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia. Burial to follow in St. Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
