HOFFMAN, PAUL R., 72, of Dennisville, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Shore Medical Center, Somers Point. He was affectionately known to his friends as Buckwheat and will be very missed by his friends and family. Born in Cape May Court House to the late Samuel Norman and Isabelle Elizabeth (Biddle) Hoffman, he was a lifetime resident here.
Paul served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Erma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He was the owner and operator of PJs Bar, P&Js Pizza Shop, Pauls Yamaha Shop, Pauls Barber Shop, and Homestead Produce and Shellfish.
Paul is survived by his devoted best wife and best friend, Donna Hoffman; his sons, Bryon “Troy” (Deanne) Hoffman and Paul R. (Sukey) Hoffman, Jr.; his brothers, Samuel “Norman”(Sandy) Hoffman and Winston (Shirley) Hoffman; and his beloved dog, Pete.
