HODSDEN, ANNA MILLER, of Cape May passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her home. Anna was born June 13, 1933 in Coco Sola Panama and was raised in Portsmouth, VA. She graduated from St. Paul’s High School in Portsmouth in 1950. She is a retired bookkeeper and dispatcher for 25 years for the Matalucci Brothers and Cape Concrete Co, South Dennis. With her husband, Anna owned and operated the Chateau Motel in North Wildwood for 13 years. She loved dogs and enjoyed reading, casinos, and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years William W. Hodsden ( July 24, 2009). She is survived by three wonderful sons: William ( Connie) Hodsden, Jr. of N. Cape May, Michael (Kumiko) Hodsden of Florida , Robert (Debbie) Hodsden of Cape May She also leaves five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a dear sister-in-law Loretta Miller of Louisville, KY. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May where relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 3 PM.
