HILLMAN, HARRY F.

HILLMAN, HARRY F., 90, of Villas passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Pennsylvania. Born in Philadelphia on August 13, 1920 to Harry & Margaret Hillman; he married Julia Maria Schaubel on September 27, 1941. Harry was employed by National Sugar for over forty years. After retirement, he and Julia moved to Villas, NJ in 1984; where they enjoyed many years of vacation-style life together. Harrys favorite activities were dancing, pinochle, bowling, and traveling. He is survived by his children: Julie (Tom) Reese; Marge (Mike) Delp; Mary Ellen (Mike) McLaughlin; Tom (Terri) Hillman; and Harry Hillman. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and two brothers: Tom & Al. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Julia; a daughter Kate Conway; a daughter Theresa (who died shortly after birth): a grandson Mark; and his long time companion Ruth Blessing. Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Parish of St John Neumann at St Raymonds RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Cape May County Veteran’s Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
