HILL, CAPTAIN RICHARD A. SR., of Erma, passed away June 11, 2013. He was born in Pennsauken and has been a Cape May Area resident since 1959. He was a commercial fisherman for many years working for the Axselsons on several boats including The Two Brothers for 18 years. In 1989, he bought and became the captain of his own boat, The Tina Lynn. He also enjoyed working on antique cars and riding motorcycles including his Harley Davidson and going to flea markets. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Isabella. Also his three sons and one daughter, Richard(Denise) Hill, of North Cape May, Joseph (Danielle) Hill, of Erma, Michael (Michele) of Erma, Tina (Bob) Munizza, of Erma. Loving Grandfather of 18 Grandchildren Justin (Melissa), John, Jesse, Annette, Joey, Maryssa, Stephanie, Jarryd, Gavin, Michael, Brianna, Ryan, Jenna, Victoria, AJ, Bobby, Richie, Caitlin. Great-Grand Children, Aryella and Michael. Brother of Robert (Jeanette) Hill, of Pennsville, and Walt (Janet) Hill, of Del Haven Doris Mondrosch of North Cape May and Betty (Jack) Rourke of Goshen. Preceded in Death, his daughter, Annette and his brothers, Harold, James, John and William. He also leaves his loving dogs, Bella and Baxter. He was also known as Pop-Pop and Cap to all who knew him. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12pm. At the EVOY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May, NJ 08204, where friends may call from 10am to 12 pm.
