HALBBAUER, ROBERT F. ”Bob”, age 86, of Cape May Beach, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Robert was born in Bronx, NY; formerly lived in Exton, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident for 29 years. He is the son of the late Frank & the late Theresa (nee Armhein) Halbauer. Robert was a graduate of Evandor Childs High School where he was a record setting swimmer and attended Seaton Hall University. He worked in sales for Pepperidge Farms, Drake Snack Foods, Entenmanns Bakery, and Arnold Bakery. Robert was a former member of the Cape May VFW, the Villas Fishing Club, and he enjoyed fishing and boating. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Halbauer. Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years Elizabeth (nee Gilhooly) Halbauer; his sons: Robert (Elizabeth), Michael, Peter, Eric, & Richard Halbauer; and his 2 grandchildren: Alexandra & Ethan.
