Mark Jeffrey Gose of Cape May, NJ, died March 11, 2020 at the age of 57. Mark grew up on the Atlantic City Steel Pier and graduated from Ocean City, NJ High School in 1980. Mark joined the Ocean City Rescue Squad as a junior member and stayed on as a full member after he turned 18. Mark joined the Army National Guard then transferred to the Air National Guard as a firefighter. He was a professional firefighter with the Wildwood Fire Department for over 30 years, retiring as a captain in 2016. For many of those years he was the Fire Inspector for the City of Wildwood. Mark was a founding member of the NJ Urban Search and Rescue Team, NJ Task Force-1 where his most recent title was Personnel Manager.Mark is survived by his mother Barbara Gose, his son Mark Michael Lee Gose and wife Kelly (Speirs), adored grandchildren Landon Chase Gose and Lillianna Grace Gose, life partner Linda Horner, first wife Karen Gallagher, brothers Kevin, Adam and Allyn Gose, and loving canine companions Cheyenne and Finn.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: The P.O. CURRAN RICHARD J. (Rip) 1944-2024 Richard J. Curran, 80, of Wildwood Crest, N.J., passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024. Born in Somers Point, N.J., he was a local resident for 80 years.
