GENTILINI, DONNA MARIE, 62, of Belleplain, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Cooper University Medical Center. Born in Sea Isle City to the late Frank T. and Emily “Millie” Karczewski Macellaro, she was a lifetime resident of this area.
Donna was a member of the VFW Belleplain and the COBS. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crabbing, fishing, and the beach. She liked doing things on the water. She truly lived life to the fullest. She had a smile that could light up any room and to know her was to love her. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, and her dogs, Bailey and Shelby.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Gina Peters (Pete); her son, Tommy Gentilini (Bernadette); her sister, Barbara Thomas; her brother, Tom Macellaro (Cheryl); her six grandchildren, Paige, Tyler, Roman, Margo, Thomas, and Lola; and her nieces and nephews, Billy Banks, Lisa Buffington, TJ Macellaro, and Julia Macellaro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Larry Penque and her brother, Billy Banks.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Arthritis National Research Foundation, 5354 E. 2nd St., Suite 201, Long Beach, CA 90803 for rheumatoid arthritis.
