GEBHARDT, BERNARD P. 6/24/1919 – 11/12/2015 Mr. Gebhardt was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in the Germantown area of the city. During WWII he worked in Cramps Shipyard building submarines and cruisers. He moved into the Cape May County area in 1945 and established residences in North Wildwood, Rio Grande and Wildwood Crest. During his 65 years on the island, he established his own construction business and worked as a building contractor. He also owned and operated a Beach Stand at 20th Street & oceanfront in North Wildwood for many years during the summer. He was a member and Past President of the Wildwood Rotary Club. As well as a former member of the Wildwood Yacht Club. At the age of 91, he moved out of his residence in Wildwood Crest, NJ to live with his son and daughter-in-law in Williamsburg, VA where he recently died at the age of 96. He is survived by his son – Bernard P. Gebhardt, Jr.His son’s wife – Lorraine C. Gebhardt; His daughter – Ruth White and her husband – Kerry White; His Grandchildren – Jason White and Laura Stadler; His Great Grandchildren – Andrew Hall, Noah Stadler and Delilah Stadler; His Step-Grandson – Frank K. Bajowski III and His Step-Great Grandchildren – Frank IV, and twins Lorelai & Emma Bajowski. It was his wish that any donations in his name be made to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund. His final request was to Thank all his friends who made his life worthwhile.
TIPPING, ELIZABETH O. Elizabeth O. Tipping passed away on December 10, 2024. Beth was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph V. Tipping, Jr. in 2022, and is survived by her faithful companion, “Murphy.” She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia and Penn State in
