GAVIN, PATRICK J., age 60, of N Cape May passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Cape Regional Med. Center of Cape May Court House. Patrick was born January 13, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of Elizabeth (McKinley) Halpin and the late Joseph Gavin. Patrick was a Cape May area resident for 25 years and was formerly of Philadelphia, PA.He retired from the Cape May Lewes Ferry as a Supervisor of Maintenance in 2017. He was preceded in death by a brother Michael Gavin ; sister Anne Gavin- Bright and step-father Bernard Halpin. Patrick is survived by his mother Elizabeth ( McKinley) Halpin; two sisters: Liz Woodlin of Coatesville, PA and Isabella Halpin of Villas; brother: John Gavin of Exton, PA; a step-brother, Jimmy Halpin; step-sisters, Marie Halpin-Gallo, Margie Bertrand, Isabel Halpin-Allen and Katie Halpin-Scheider; aunt Peggy Cirelli. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N Cape May, where relatives and friends may call from 3-4:30 pm Burial is private.
