GARDINER, THOMAS S., 83, of Rio Grande formerly of Avalon passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy and Daughter Lana Williams. Survivors: His Daughters Carolyn Britton (Phillip), Bobbi Jo Hartung (John). Grandchildren, Nancy Matteucci (Joseph), Lorie Hagan. Shaun Strain (Kara), Jacqueline Williams, Kane Britton and Jessalyn Britton. Great Grandchildren Eric and Nicholas Matteucci. He proudly served in the Avalon Volunteer Fire Department where became a Life Time Member of the Fireman’s Association of New Jersey.
