GALLAGHER, IRIS, age 71, of Rio Grande passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Cape Regional Med. Center. Iris was born in Camden, NJ; raised in Philadelphia, PA; and has lived in the same house in Rio Grande since moving here in 1982. She was a clerical worker for Wildwood Linen. Iris was a Catholic by faith. She was preceded in death by her brother Earl Cornwell. Iris is survived by her daughter Karen (David) Johnson; her son John Gallagher; two grandchildren: Leanne Compton & Jimmy Champlin; and one great grandson Hunter Compton. Also surviving are her brothers: Robert, Richard, & Herbert Cornwell; her sister Carol Hogan; and many nieces & nephews. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 Am on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
