FREY, PHYLLIS ANN

FREY, PHYLLIS ANN, age 65, of Cape May, NJ passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Media, PA. Phyllis was born on July 19, 1947 in Philadelphia to Charles and Louise Scarborough. She graduated from Solanco High School (1965), where she was crowned Miss Solanco, then attended Temple University in Philadelphia before getting married in 1969. Phyllis was employed at Armstrong then RR Donnelley Printing in Lancaster, PA for 15 years before she retired to Cape May, NJ in 2008. She loved gardening, playing cards, the beach, but most of all time with her children and family. Phyllis is survived by her three children: Byron Frey (Kacey), Julie Havel (Michael), and Kathryn Mema (Gent); as well as by her six grandchildren (Katrina, Trevor and Rebecca Frey, Evan and Ryan Havel and Abigail Mema), her mother Louise Scarborough, and siblings Charlotte McClune, Patti Landis and William Scarborough. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father Charles Scarborough. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Media Presbyterian Church, 30 E Baltimore Ave, Media PA; where friends and family will be received from 11:00 to 12:00.
