FOX, GILES GLENDON, 74- of Estell Manor died September 8th, 2015. Born in Millville, to the late Charles P. and Carolyn T. Fox, Giles was a 1959 graduate of Millville High School. Giles served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam and Cold War era. While in the Navy, he was qualified as a Helicopter Rescue Air crewman/diver. Giles was a Master Mason of Shekinah Lodge #58, F&AM, and retired as a Captain with the State Dept. of Corrections. After marrying his wife JoAnn, they were located in Cape May County for 27 years, before relocating to Estell Manor, Atlantic County. Giles was a candidate for Estell Manor City Council and a member of the Planning Board. During his retirement, Giles and his wife were owners of Foxwood Farm and vineyard, where he received several winemaking awards. He was a graduate of the U.S. Navy’s Underwater Swimmers School and worked in Navy Operations and air intelligence duties. He also served as ships company at the Navy’s Parachute School, and was a member of the school’s skydiving club. He was predeceased by his brother Nelson C. Fox. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, JoAnn, and sons Christopher and his wife Cindy, and Robert of Massachusetts, sister Lois Martelli and her partner Tony, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. a Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Interment will be at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery.
