FITZPATRICK, LETTY E., 66, of Cape May Court House passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 8, 2013. Born in Jersey City to Reynold and Letitia Peters, she later moved to the area in the 1970s and taught in the Middle Township School District until she retired in 2010. As much as she touched the lives of her students, they touched hers. Letty was proud to be actively involved with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) working for the benefit of children in need, had a longtime affiliation with Moose Lodge #585, and volunteered with CONTACT. Letty is survived by her son Rob Fitzpatrick and daughter Erin (Mike) Majane; sister Maureen (Mark) Gibson; brothers Ron (Gail) and Ray (Rachel) Peters; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Diane Nelson. A memorial service will be on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1 Church St., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
