FAUSEY, WILLIAM J., 73, of Swainton, died suddenly on August 16, 2013. Bill is survived by his wife and best friend, Eileen Carlson Fausey, of 51 years; his children Karen Padmore (Steve) of Cape May Court House, William C. Fausey (Karen) of Somers Point, and Laura Johnson (Brian) of Huntersville, NC; and his grandchildren, Jason Padmore, Charles Padmore, Alexandra Padmore, Rachel Fausey and Will Fausey. He had one great grandchild, Weston Padmore. He is also survived by his brother, Marc Barnshaw of Chester, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Fausey, Sr. and Evelyn Napier Barnshaw. He was always proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, which he loved almost as much as his family. He was a Jaycee, an Optimist, a member of the Marine Corps League, the D.A.V. and the American Legion. In 1976, he organized the Middle Township Little League and was its first president. He also served as the Cub Master of Pack 65 in Cape May Court House. He loved family parties, tilling his garden, and visiting new places. Bill retired from Verizon in 2001 as a fiber optic splicer and was a 1958 graduate of Wildwood High School. He will be deeply missed by his family and his faithful dog, Luger. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
