ELZENBECK, JOSEPH B. “Clambo”, age 80, of Rio Grande passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Joseph was born in North Wildwood and has been a life-long Cape May area resident. He was a Union Carpenter working from the Carpenters Union Local 1743 in Wildwood. Joseph served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a former member of: the Rio Grande Fire Company, the Moose Lodge of Erma, and the DAV of Del Haven. Joseph is survived by his wife of 42 years Elise (nee Sprague) Elzenbeck; his son Blair Elzenbeck; his daughter Kim Kamm; and his son Matthew Elzenbeck. Also surviving are his sister Ann McKnight and his three grandchildren: Kelly, Jessie, & Joseph. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
