ELSKAMP, ANNE ALLISON, age 89 of Cape May Court House died peacefully on November 19, 2016 after a fall that morning. Anne was a passionate cook, dearly loved by family, friends and neighbors. Anne was a guiding light to her family and those who knew her. Her indomitable spirit often cast hope on forlorn souls. Her wisdom, her steady and calm demeanor, well-served her and those she connected with and those influences are her legacy. Her inspiration is her parting gift to her family. In every way, she was a very special lady. Anne was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Albert B. and Audrey C. Divvens, lived in Delaware County, PA for many years, and has lived in southern NJ since 1987. Anne was a member of the League of Women Voters of NJ and other local organizations. Anne was married to John Frederick Allison (deceased 1969) and Theodore (Ted) Elskamp (deceased 2013). She was pre-deceased by her sister Audrey. She is survived by her sons Fredrick, and Stephan (Susan) and their son John, her daughters Anne (Steu) and their daughter Allie, and Gretchen (Terry), and their children Jesse and Sarah; her son by marriage Tom (Marisa) and their children Tom, Anthony, and Joseph; and her nieces and nephews Braden (deceased 2015), John (Doc), Bridget, and Matthew. Services will be private.
