EKSTROM, PAUL G., 70, of Goshen, NJ, passed away July 13, 2017. Born in Wildwood and raised in Wildwood Crest, he was a lifelong resident of Cape May County.
Paul graduated from Wildwood High School, Class of “65”, served in the U.S. Army 1966-1968. After being honorably discharged, he returned home. He was active in the community and served as a Little League Coach, past member of the Cape May Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs, and a fifteen year plus term on the Middle Township planning board. Paul also served on various committees and boards. After a forty year career in banking he finally retired. His family was the center of his life, and home was his continent and happy place!
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his high school sweet heart and beloved wife of 48 years, Joannie; daughter Melissa Zbieranowski (Richard) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; son Jon Ekstrom (Leslie) of Northfield, NJ; four grandchildren Alexa and Sarah Zbieranowski and Anna and Eric Ekstrom; brothers Carl R. Ekstrom (Lori) of Linwood, NJ and Tom Ekstrom of Florida; uncle Alfred Ekstrom of Smithville, NJ; nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and neighbors.
