DODDS, JAMES J., Jr., 82, of Villas died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Cape Regional Med. Center of Cape May Court House. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was employed by Litton Industries, Clifton Hts., PA for 37 years as a mechanical engineer. James designed special devices for the military including The Altimeter for the first Apollo Space Mission to the moon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years,: Regina (neeBuckley) Dodds ; four children James (Chris) Dodds,, Patrick Dodds; Mary Dodds and Jacqueline (Andre) Haarsma; three brothers, Edward Dodds, Charles Dodds and Wishy Dodds. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by two daughters, Regina (2002) and Karen (2006). A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N Cape May, where relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 am.
