DITTMAR, NED C., 82, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles Randolph and Marion Louis Dittmar, he lived here for 23 years after moving from North Cape May. He was a member of Cape May Lutheran Church and of the Elks Club.
The former president of Grace Oil Company, Mr. Dittmar also served in the National Guard. He liked carpentry and mechanical work – he could build or fix anything.
Mr. Dittmar is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peg Dittmar; his two daughters, Cherylann McIntyre (Tom) and Donna Perlman (Jody); and his four grandchildren, Megan, Kelsey, Ryan, and Sarah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Summers.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Outreach of Cape May County, 600 Park Blvd., West Cape May, NJ 08204.
