DiMEDIO, BARBARA ANN, 70, of Villas, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Barbara was born November 9, 1946 in Cape May Court House, NJ and has been a life-long Cape May area resident. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Margaret (nee Shaw) Chew. Barbara worked for the Mor Push Pin & Button Factory in Philadelphia. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Erma. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, playing the piano, and loved doing crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. DiMedio on January 2, 2012 and her brothers: Frank and George Chew. Barbara is survived by her son George (Katherine Lombardo) Wharton; her son Barry (Amanda) Wharton; and her three grandchildren: Barry, Shane, and Jonathan. Also surviving are her brother William (Karen) Chew and her sisters: Margaret Walsh and Patricia (Craig) Lawrence. There will be a funeral service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
