DiCOLA, JAMES P., 83, of Erma, NJ, passed away on March 12, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on November 12, 1930 in Bridgeport, PA to the late Daniel and Elizabeth DiCola. He was the youngest of their 9 children. Jim graduated in 1949 from the Williamson Trade School in Media, PA. He married Elizabeth Garay in 1951. Formerly of King of Prussia, PA, he moved to North Cape May in 1964 to join his brothers as a master builder in the DiCola Brothers family business. He then returned to work at his alma mater Williamson Trade School until his retirement. Jim loved fishing and was always ready to take family and friends out on his boat. He also loved people, especially children, music and animals. Jim will be greatly missed by his loving family including his wife Elizabeth, son James, daughter Janet Williams and husband Dave, daughter Nancy Giles and husband Paul, grandchildren Dana, David and Rachel, and great granddaughter Jayla. He is also survived by three sisters, Edith and Clara of PA and Connie of California, and may nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Louis, Alfred, George and Daniel and sister Elizabeth. Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Parish at St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Interment was private.
