DEAROLF, JEAN E., age 89, of Wildwood passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her home. Born in Norristown, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1979. Jean was employed by Uries Restaurant in Wildwood as a hostess. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wildwood (where she formerly sang in the choir). Jean enjoyed ceramics, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W Dearolf, Sr. in 2000, and her sister Ruth McCarron. Jean is survived by 2 children: Marcia (David) Knipe of Erma & Thomas Tim (Anne) Dearolf of Collegeville, PA; 4 grandchildren: Melissa Dawson, Thomas Dearolf, Jennifer Knipe, & Christopher Knipe; and 3 great grandchildren: Kyle, Anna, & William Dawson. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, 230 E Maple Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
