de PAYAD, ANGELA MONGE, 72, made her transition peacefully surrounded by her loving family early morning Friday, February 28, 2014, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Angela was a long time resident of Cape May, NJ following multiple USCG transfers including, Kodiak, AK, Florence, OR, Moclips, WA, and Long Beach, CA. She is the proud mother of three and grandmother of three. She is known to many in the community for her caring and generous heart. She opened her doors to anyone in need and took everyone under her wing. This generosity was evident in her 20+ years working as a CMA/CNA and volunteer with Genesis Healthcare at Victoria Commons, Victoria Manor and North Cape Center. She also worked as an HHA with Holy Redeemer. Following her retirement she became a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary with St. John Neumann Parish and enjoyed bible study and membership with Encuentra con Dios, the Hispanic Catholic community of Cape May County. She is a native of Guazapa, San Salvador in El Salvador, Central America. She came to the US to study English with dreams to create a better life for herself and her family; however, she met and fell in love with her husband 46 years ago. She is predeceased by her parents, Jose Leon Monge & Petrona Santamaria and brothers, Saul and Oscar. She is survived by devoted and loving husband, Wilfredo QM Payad, three daughters; Abigayle BM Payad-Logan, Rachelle JP Causey (Courtney) and Angelfrid GM Payad, three grandchildren; Brittany A. Logan, Khoury I. Causey, and Marisa J. Causey; five sisters, Mercedes Spetka (David), Olympia de Figueroa (Efrain), Lidia de Centeno (Alfredo), Gladis de Gamero (Miguel), Mima N. Almeida (John, deceased), brother Rigoberto Santamaria (Miriam) and countless nieces and nephews. Visitors and loved ones will be welcomed on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 7-9:00p.m. at Evoy Funeral Home Inc. 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ 08204. There will be an additional viewing Thursday, March 6th, 2014 from 1011:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John of God Church 680 Townbank Road, N. Cape May, NJ 08204. Int. Cold Spring Cemetery.
