CRILLEY, JOHN P

CRILLEY, JOHN P “JACK”, 86, of Cape May and formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014. Jack had been a resident of Cape May for approximately the past 50 years. Jack grew up in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia and was a member of Holy Family Parish where he also attended grammar school. Over the years, Jack worked for Royal Typewriter Company as a repairman, Woodbine State School working with youth, the Oceanview Welcome Center on the Garden State Parkway, and for many years at the Cape May Welcome Center where he assisted countless tourists and visitors to the area. Jack was a man of many interests and loved to travel. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Katherine Crilley; his brothers, James and Francis Crilley; his sisters, Rosalie Donahue (Crilley) and Catherine Giorno (Crilley). Jack will be dearly missed by his family which includes his nephews, Gary Giorno, Anthony Giorno, Dr. Mark Giorno, Rev. Stephen Giorno, S.T., John Giorno, James Donahue, Charles Donahue; nieces, Dolores Wesling (Donahue) and Bernadette Crilley; as well as, many dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (February 19) at 9:30AM in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 525 Washington St., Cape May. Interment will take place at a later date.
