CRANSTOUN, ELLEN M., 61, of Cape May, passed away in her husband’s arms on Friday morning, August 18, 2017 in the comfort of her home. Born in Little Silver, NJ, Ellen has been a Cape May resident for the past ten years after moving here from Lawrenceville, NJ. She graduated from Red Bank High School and furthered her education at Trenton State College, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. While in the Lawrenceville area, Ellen worked for the Trenton Times newspaper in their Art Department. Later she started her own graphic design company known as Dynamic Impact. She worked extensively for The Center for Biblical Parenting where she shared her love of Jesus and her graphic design talents. She donated much of her time and talents to churches and Christian causes. Ellen was a woman of great faith and the way she lived her life, especially through the toughest of times, was a shining example of “faith in action” to all of those who knew her. Ellen and her husband shared a deep abiding love. She touched so many people and brought many to the Lord. Ellen loved working out early in the morning with her buddies. She was an avid bike rider with her vintage Raliegh; enjoyed photography and most of all enjoyed gardening. Her home is evidence of her amazing talents. Godspeed, Ellen. Ellen is dearly missed by her loving family which includes her husband of 28 years, Doug Cranstoun; son, Brian (and Lindsay) Kerr; step-sons, J.D. Cranstoun and Matt (and Katie) Cranstoun; brother, Lee (and Dora) Stewart and her granddaughter, Madison.
