CORRIGAN, BERNARD A. “Bernie”, age 87, of N Cape May died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at North Cape Center of North Cape May, NJ. Bernard was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a Cape May area resident since 1990 and formerly lived in Villas, NJ and Philadelphia. He was a retired mechanic for Septa in Philadelphia where he worked for 40 years. He served in the Navy during World War II . Bernie was a Past Sr. Vice Commander of VFW 3725 Townbank Bernie and Marge were charter members of the Good Samaritans at St. Raymond’s Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marge, a brother, Thomas, and sisters, Mary B. O’Connor and Geraldine Paoletti. Bernie is survived by siblings, Gertrude Corrigan, John Corrigan and Francis Corrigan all of Havertown. He also leaves 31 nieces and nephews and his loving and caring friend Janice Laskey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, December 23, 2012 at the Parish Of St. John Neumann, St. Raymond’s Church, Bayshore Road And Ocean Avenue, Villas, NJ where friends may call from 9 to 10 am..
