CORISDEO, HILDA K. (Nee KETTELL), 87, of Rio Grande and recently of Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 14, 2013 in the comfort of her home with her family at her side. Hilda was a very active and devoted member of her parish community at St. John Neumann Parish in North Cape May, where she was a member of the Christ Child Society. Hilda was very social. She enjoyed being around people and took a genuine interest in the lives of her family and friends. Most of all, she will be long remembered and forever loved by her family for being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Anthony Corisdeo; her son, John Carver; sister, Mary Smith and two brothers, Edward and Michael Kettell. Hilda will be dearly missed by her family which includes her daughter, Sandy (and Doug) Whitten; son, Albert (and Mary) Carver; sister, Florence Crawford; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (Sept. 19th) at 11AM in St. John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd., N. Cape May where there will be a viewing from 10AM ” 10:50AM. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cape May.
