CHAMPION, EILEEN, 54, of Cape May Court House passed away on November 14, 2013 after a long battle with Melanoma cancer. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, & deeply cared for her family & friends. She was born on Feb. 25, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA to Albert & Mary Donahue. Eileen graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School-Class of 1977, obtained her NJ cosmetology license, and achieved a successful 16 year career at Headlines Professional Haircare. Eileen enjoyed life very much and lived everyday to its fullest. She especially enjoyed walks on the seawall, long bike rides, going to mass, collecting sea glass on the beach, and sharing her life with all of her family, friends and dogs. She was a very strong, determined, and generous woman. She constantly put others needs before her own. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by many. May she rest in the arms of the angels. Eileen is survived by her husband, Robert, of 29 years; and her children, Mary Elizabeth ( Lonnie) and Louis. She is also survived by her sister, Terry; her brothers, Albert (Cookie), Paul (Rose), & Michael; her four nieces; and two nephews. A calling time will be held on Nov. 23, 2013 from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ. Mass will follow at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clermont, NJ. The family suggests donations in Eileen’s memory to the Beacon Animal Rescue, 701 Butter Rd., Ocean View, NJ 08230.
