CHAMBERS, SARAH JANE

CHAMBERS, SARAH JANE, age 79, of Mayville, NJ, died on Monday, January 13, 2014, at her home. She was born in Mayville, NJ the daughter of the late Herbert G. and Emma C. Parsons Ryder. She owned the Presidential Motor Court at the time of her death. Sarah Jane was an active member of the 7th Day Adventist Church of Mayville where she was a home and school leader. She also taught kindergarten and Sabbath School and was the leader of The Pathfinders, the youth group of the Church. . She enjoyed being involved in nature including watching birds, growing flowers, picking shells on the beach and loved lighthouses. She is survived by three sons: Ralph P., Jr. and his wife, Martha; Herb G. and his wife, Jeanine; and James all of Mayville; and three grandchildren: Ralph Ryder and his wife, Liz; Dori Carolyn; and Herbie George, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph P. Sr.; her parents, Herbert and Emma Ryder; and her sister, Viola Hand. A public graveside funeral service will be on Friday, January 17, 2014, at 11 am at the Goshen Methodist Cemetery, Route 47, Goshen.
