CARTER, JOANNE, W., age 68 of Franklinville, formerly of North Cape May, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Acuity Specialty Hospital in Atlantic City. She was born in Philadelphia and resided in the Cape May area for over 20 years. Joanne was employed for over 25 years as an administrative secretary for the Cape May Co. Special Services School in Cape May Court House. She also had worked at North Cape Center “Genesis Health Care”. Joanne was a member of the South Jersey Horseman’s Association and enjoyed barrel racing and showing horses at horse shows. She is survived by a two sons Matthew Carter (Falon) of Franklinville and Rocky J. Creighton of Ohio; a daughter Stephanie Carter of Leesburg; mother, Anna White of N. Cape May and six grandchildren, Garrett and Ariana Carter, Paul Wescott II and Zachary Westcott, Alexandra and Donovan Joseph Creighton. A Memorial Service will be held 8 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ 08204 where friends may call from 7 to 8pm.
