CARRIERI, DOLORES (NEE FRAMO), 83, of Cape May entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the comfort of her home with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia to Sam and Fanny (nee Angelo) Framo, Dolores grew up in Philadelphia and had lived in Haddonfield before retiring between Fort Myers, FL and Cape May. Dolores met her husband, Peter on her 16th birthday and married June 20, 1954. They celebrated 61 years of marriage. She loved cooking Italian food for her family and passing down secret recipes to her daughters. She spent time cruising the Caribbean and vacationing in Mexico with family and friends. Her most memorable trip was touring Italy with her husband. Dolores loved to watch the Atlantic Ocean from her Cape May porch in the early morning and early evening hours, on many occasions spotting the dolphin as they played along the shoreline. Her biggest passion in life was, by far, the love of her family. Dolores is dearly missed by her family which includes her devoted husband, Peter; cherished daughters, Debora and Carol with her husband Charles; two adored grandchildren, Tess and Peter as well as her dear brother, Jimmy Framo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (Dec. 1st) at 1:30pm in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 525 Washington St., Cape May where the family will receive guests from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Interment is private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to: Lung Force, led by the American Lung Association, online at http://lungforce.org(Spilker Funeral Home, Cape May) info and condolences:spilkerfuneralhome.com
