CARR, PATRICIA, 76, of Cape May, New Jersey, and a resident of Victorian Towers Residence Complex, passed away February 25, 2014 and went to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her family and the loving volunteers from Holy Redeemer Hospice. She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Anne Owens of East Lansdowne, PA. She is survived by her loving husband, John Carr, and devoted children, Joseph Peter Francisco, of Philadelphia, PA; and Terence Hugh Francisco (daughter-in-law Anne Francisco) of Westlake Village, CA, and sister, Carol Cleary (Brother-in-law William Cleary) of Malvern, PA. She is predeceased by her sisters Mary Ellen Ferrick of Springfield, PA, and Joanne Allen of Royersford, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Amanda Francisco, Noelle Francisco and Isabella Francisco, all of Westlake Village, CA, and many loving nieces, nephews and stepchildren. Pat was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in East Lansdowne, PA. She graduated from Saint Cyril Elementary School and West Catholic High School in Philadelphia. She loved dancing throughout her life and was very active in theatre, starring in several productions of the Brandywiners Theatre Group. She taught aerobics and dance and shared many joyous times with friends, families and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She married Terrance Francisco of Philadelphia in 1959 and raised her family in Delaware County, PA, and lived in Media, Glenolden, Chadds Ford and Glen Mills. She married John Carr in 1984 and spent several summers in South Jersey, finally settling at Victorian Towers in 1998. She was previously employed as a registration administrator at Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia. While at Victorian Towers Pat volunteered for many valuable causes and was a member of the Cape May String Band. She produced and directed musical shows at the Towers. She also travelled the world, visiting her grandchildren and many beautiful places in Europe with her husband and older sister, Mary Ellen.
