CAREY, JOSEPH U., 76, of Whitesboro passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013. Born in Virginia to Joseph and Florence Carey, he later served in the US Army and moved to this area in 1968. He worked for the Wildwood Convention Center and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, where he was Chairman of The Deacon Board. He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Mary (formerly Shelton); children: Donna, Nathan, Wanda, Kenneth, and Louis; six brothers and 2 sisters; as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Rt. 9 and Main St., Whitesboro, NJ 08252.
