CAMPANA, EMMA (BENEDETTI), 79, formerly of Hawthorne, NJ, entered heaven peacefully on October 5th, 2015. Emma was born June 23, 1936 to Angelo and Teresa Benedetti. Emma was a former resident of Hawthorne, NJ, for 40 years, and was a member of St. Anthonys R.C. Church.Her current home was in North Wildwood, NJ, where she had many friends and enjoyed countless sunny days, the pleasure of the ocean, sunrise and sunsets. Her winter months were spent at her Florida Home.Emma was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed times they spent together. She touched many lives and gave so much of herself to those she loved. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Frank of 57 years, her children Cynthia Girgenti and her husband Alexander of Tolland, CT, Frank Campana and his wife Lisa of Palm Bay, FL, and her Special Joy Kevin, and nine beautiful grandchildren; Alexandra and Evelyn Girgenti, Nicholas, Alyssa, Mariah, Jeremiah, Gabriella, Gracia, and Frankie Jr. Campana whom she was much devoted too. Emma also leaves behind her sisters Gilda Jager and her husband Peter, and Angie Lombardo and her husband Vincent. She was pre-deceased by her loving sister Elisa Rizio and her husband James.In her life it was evident to all who knew Emma, her priority was the well being of her family in her caring and nurturing ways. Emma loved God and took comfort in her tremendous faith. She practiced genuine Christian faith of love, acceptance and forgiveness.Emma was a graduate of Central High School and was employed for many years by Dr. Barasch as his Business Billing Manager.A Memorial Service will be held for the friends of Emma Campana at The Lighthouse Church located at 1248 U.S. 9, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 on November 12, 2015 at 11:00AMThe family is comforted to know she is at peace with God and all her loved ones.
