BURKE, ELIZABETH T. “BETTY” (Nee WATSON) 90 – of Wildwood, NJ passed away Monday July 29th at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA., she has been a local resident for the past 42 years. Mrs. Burke was a member of St. Ann’s Church. She was predeceased by her husband James F. Burke, Sr. She is survived by three children: Jim Burke, Jr. (Dolly), Gerry Burke, Michael Burke (Julie), six Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was employed by Wildwood City Hall as a receptionist. She loved bingo, Cali ( dog) and Philadelphia sports. The viewing will be held at 9 am followed by mass at 10 am Thursday, August 1st at Notre Dame de la Mer Parish at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ. Christian Burial will be at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Middle Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
