BRITTON, MICHAEL R. 47 of Stone Harbor passed away after a brief illness on July 1st. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ to Marie (DiPasquale) and Raymond H. Britton on September 19, 1965. Michael grew up in Stone Harbor where his father, Ray, owned and operated the renowned Britton’s Bakery. Micheal enjoyed surfing, fishing and telling a good story. He had real estate sales licenses in both NJ and Florida. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond H. Britton, brother, Joseph M. Norton, Jr., grandmother, Mary DiPasquale, grandfather, Leonard Nick DiPasquale, and uncle, John DiPasquale. Michael is survived by his mother, Marie J. Britton, (John McDonnell) of Wildwood Crest, a sister, Marianne Linnington of Cape May, a brother, Raymond (Kathleen) Britton of Cherry Hill, Aunts, Marie DiPasquale of Leland, NC, Rose James, of Boyton Beach, FL, Nephews, JP Linnington of Cape May, Joseph (Joan) Quinn of Willow Grove, PA, Gregg (Heather) Quinn of Mt. Laurel, and Raymond Britton, Jr. of Cherry Hill, Nieces, Christa Linnington of Cape May, and Lauren Britton of Cherry Hill, his long time friend, Brion Gunnar Barton of N. Cape May, cousins, Theresa (Rick) Harris of Raleigh, NC, Vicki (John) Donnelly of Philadelphia, and Edward (Gloria) DiPasquale of Riegelwood, NC. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 8th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church on 99th and 3rd Avenues in Stone Harbor, NJ at 11 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. at the Church.
