BOLGER, EVELYN “Ebby” (Lehman), “Cape May Bow Lady” age 91, died December 16, 2016, in Florida where she was wintering with her daughters families. She was born on July 4th, the daughter of Laura (Shiesser) and John Lehman. She married the love of her life John Bolger. They had four children Tommy, Timmy, Colleen and Mary. She worked at NY Life Insurance and retired to Cape May, New Jersey a place where she vacationed and came to love. She loved country, family, life, music, all nature especially birds, sports especially the NY Mets. She judged a good day by the amount of laughter you shared. She was a poet whose poems were filled with her love for life, family, music and humor. She was a pure and kind soul. Ebby is survived by her children, who adored her: son Tim Bolger and his wife Erika Bolger; her daughter Colleen Bolger and her wife Jane Gibson; and her daughter Mary Lovaglio and her husband Nick Lovaglio. She is also survived by sisters in law Theresa (Bolger) Lehman, Eileen (Bolger) LaFemina, Patricia (Bolger) Cavallero and brother in law, Vincent Bolger and his wife Louise. She had many loved nieces and nephews. She leaves four grandsons, Brian, Casey and Kevin Bolger and John Thomas Lovaglio and his wife Tonya and two great grandchildren Hudson and Lyla Grace Lovaglio. She leaves behind many other loved Grands Bobby, Bridget, Caitlyn, Aishlin, Samantha, Molly and Nora and many friends including her Devonshire family and CM VFW Shuffleboard family. Ebby was pre-deceased by her son Thomas Bolger and her siblings Arthur Lehman, Edna Murray and her husband Mickey, and Florence Kearney and her husband Billy. There will be a memorial service in Cape May in the spring at a date and place to be determined followed by an interment at Arlington National Cemetery where Ebby Bolger will rest in peace beside her beloved husband and hero, Johnny Bolger. Ebbys favorite charities were ASPCA and St. Judes. Please support the charity of your choice.
