BERNARD, BOOTH, MYRA W. (nee Williams), 94, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Exton, PA. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Moylan Rose Valley, PA, where she attended Friends School (elementary) and graduated from Swarthmore High School in 1936. Myra also attended Swarthmore College and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1940 with a BS Degree in Education. At both colleges, she was a member of the swimming team and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Myra taught most of her 24 years as a teacher at Lower Township Maud Abrams School. She was a member of the NJEA Retired Teachers Association, the Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, Greater Wildwood Crest Yacht Club, and the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House. Myra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and going to the beach, which always included a swim in the ocean. Myra was predeceased by her husbands, Wilmer Tunnell Booth in 1969 and Warren Bernard in 2011, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Kleiser Hvizda in 2012. She is survived by a son, James Tunnell Booth (Judie) of Chester Springs, PA; two daughters: Linda Booth Kleiser of Drexel Hill, PA and Nancy Booth Gustitis (Gene) of Chester Springs, PA; also Kimberly and Steve Fuimano of Downingtown, PA, Robert Kleiser of Lansdowne, PA, Warren R. Bernard, Jr. of Marathon, FL and Lyn Bernard Heidkamp of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Brian and Kevin Booth, Konnie Kleiser and Gregory Gustitis; also twelve great grandchildren: Elyssa, Ryan, Nolan, Grace, Krystal, Ted, Brianna, Jillian, Madison, Lucas, Delaney and Gavin; and a large extended family. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 10 am at the First United Methodist Church, North Main Street and Church Street, Cape May Court House, NJ with services at 11am. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery.
