BECICA, WILLIAM J., Sr., 63, of Pt. Pleasant Beach, left our world on September 18, 2010, at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ. He was born in North Wildwood and lived most of his life in Pt. Pleasant Beach. At the time of his death, he was predeceased by his parents Anthony Sr. & Hazel Becica. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Kathleen; his 3 children, Sean Becica, Karen O’Brien & William Becica Jr; 4 Grandchildren, Tyler Becica, Devon Jamison, Dylan Jamison & Paige Becica; 4 Brothers, Anthony Jr., Thomas Charles & Carl; 3 Sisters, Candy, Patricia & Helen. Bill was best known for managing Pt. Pleasant Packing Clam Dock for the past 17 years. Before that he captained several scallop and clam boats. He worked for the Cohen Family for most of his working life. In 1999, he and his wife created the Fishermans Memorial on the Manasquan Inlet. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. A memorial will be held on Friday, September 24 at 1pm at the Fishermans Memorial on Ocean in Pt. Pleasant Beach.
