BEBLER, JOHN M.

BEBLER, JOHN M. John “Johnny Bebs”, 59, of North Wildwood and Rio Grande passed away July 5, 2013 and went to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his family. John fought a courageous battle with cancer. John is predeceased by his loving mother Jane Bebler. He is survived by his beloved father, Roland, his loving sisters Louise Coront ( best brother-in-law Michael), and Joanne Schaible, his brother Wayne ( Debbie) of Charlotte, NC; and his nieces Jess Catania ( Vic) and Michelle Dawn Mooney (Dean Bult), his sister-in-law and friend Gail Bebler, and was happy to have a grand-niece arriving in September. Also godfather to Jill Roach. John was born at Burdette Tomlin Hospital and graduated from Wildwood High School in 1973. He owned and operated Beb’s Beach Rentals in North Wildwood for 30 years. He worked at Russo’s Restaurant for over 25 years. Most recently he was working at the Bull and Bear Tavern in Woodbine. He was a member of the NW Volunteer Fire Co. #1 for 25 years, and is a lifetime member of the NJ State Volunteer Firefighters Association. He was an avid sports fan especially the New York Mets, The Miami Dolphins, and Duke University basketball. Services will be held 12 noon Wednesday July 10, 2013 at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood, NJ where friends and family may call from 10 am. In lieu of flowers John’s family request donations to the NW Volunteer Fire Co. # 1 Scholarship Fund, 15th & Central Aves., North Wildwood, NJ 08260, The Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260 or Survivors of Cancer, inc., PO Box 266, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
