ALEXANDER, ANNE L., 81, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Alexander was a schoolteacher in Paterson, NJ before moving to South Jersey in 1957. A 52-year resident of North Wildwood, she was a member of the Margaret Mace School Board in the 1960s, worked the polls on each Election Day in recent years, owned and managed properties in the local hotel industry, and for many years served on the Executive Board as treasurer of Beth Judah Temple. Her passions were her family — especially her grandchildren, rooting for the New York Mets, time with her close friends and Mah Jongg. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Alexander, daughters Jane Bulman (Regis), Jill Mauger (Bob), Nancy DeCecco (Tom) and Debbie Alexander (Jerry Brancato); grandchildren David, Gregory and his wife Erin, Matthew, Molly, Scott, Alex, Jake and Max; and sister Phyllis Goldberg. Service will be held Sunday, February 2nd, at 1pm Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, with a burial service at Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Pleasantville. The family will receive friends at the Alexander home on 19th Avenue in North Wildwood on Sunday evening and Monday.
