ADAMS, ROBERT J., 49 – of Rio Grande, NJ passed away July 30, 2017. He was born to Raymond and Ella (formerly Clement) Adams, Jr. and worked as a painter for NJ Stone Painting. Robert was a bass player and played in groups such as Stumbling Jack and SoulShine. He is predeceased by his mother Ella and grandparents: Clara Robinson, Clinton Clement, Florence Adams, and Raymond Adams, Sr.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carla (formerly Racquet); his children: Jonathan, Richard, Deanna, John, and Aidan; his brothers Raymond Adams III and Clinton Adams; as well as cousins, aunts, and uncles; especially his cousin, Chrissy Clement who was more like a sister to him.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 and memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. A private inurnment will be at the Baptist Cemetery in Cape May Court House.
