In today’s economy, the Atlantic City Rescue Mission’s needs are greater than ever to provide food for the homeless. To help the Mission’s efforts, Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union collected non-perishable food coupons to purchase food for the Mission just in time for Easter. The Credit Union’s donation will help provide this Easter holiday food baskets to the community in Atlantic County and the Atlantic City area. In addition, these non-perishables will be used in the kitchen to serve between 900 and 1,200 meals a day.
Virginia Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union stated, “I’m extremely proud of our team’s passion and commitment to help those less fortunate in our community.” “It’s such a blessing to have a community partner like Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union,” says Bill Southrey, President and CEO of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
